About us

Our roots can be traced back to a screenprinting business founded by Messrs Olley and Rowley in 1947. Subsequent decades saw laminating and mounting services added and, by the early 1980s, finishing was the firm’s primary line of business.

In 2007, Peter Fitzgerald and Steve Price led a management buy-out of Olro’s print finishing site in Romford. Today, our relatively small team of 15 people is proud to be one of the longest established and most respected print finishing businesses in the UK, producing stand-out materials for printers nationwide.

Why choose us?

The print industry needs reliable, effective finishers that are prepared to go that little bit further for their print customers.

Our standards, reputation and experience are recognised in the industry as a step above others. Partnering us could make the all-important difference to helping you grow your business.

We offer fast turnaround, but not at the expense of quality

We offer comprehensive finishing services

We’re inventive; we like exceeding finishing expectations

Sustainability

In our customer work and in our own practices, we seek to do business in the most environmentally and socially responsible way we can.

We have been FSC certified for some time, the world’s most trusted mark for sustainable forestry, so our accreditation enables us to support your FSC chain of custody. Even if the FSC trademark is not an option for your projects, we can still offer sustainable alternatives such as biodegradable laminate films and UV varnishes. When it comes to packaging, our aim is to help you make them as sustainable and recyclable as possible.

Our manufacturing processes create little waste but, what we do generate, is responsibly recycled through our waste management partner’s commitment to ‘Zero to Landfill’.

“I’ve been a finisher with Olro since 2018 and love the variety and challenges clients give us, from miniature kits to large crashlock boxes. It’s all in a day’s work for us.”
